The Hawks have confirmed they are investigating an alleged attack on Supra Mahumapelo, an attack that allegedly took place on Sunday night at his Limpopo home.
Last week, Mahumapelo opened a case at the Mahikeng Police Station after receiving information about people wanting him killed.
He said the plot involves hiring hitmen who have already been paid R250,000 and have been promised to receive more if they execute their mandate.
The Hawks’ Tlangelani Rikhotso says, “A case was opened at the Mahikeng Police Station on Saturday and was transferred to us on Sunday morning.”
“Another complaint was logged on Monday morning about an incident that took place on Sunday night. An incident in which the premier and his family were attacked by a tokoloshe wearing only boxers shorts.” Rikhotso said.
“The tokoloshe started by changing channels while Mahumapelo and his family watched TV. He then began chasing them around the house until 5:00 AM this morning. They didn’t sleep.” Rikhotso added.
